Join us at the National Academy of Sciences for the third Sackler Colloquium on the Science of Science Communication. Drawing on the past two colloquia on this topic we intend to continue our work to improve science communication through fostering a better understanding of relations between the scientific community and the public, assessing the scientific basis for effective communication about science, strengthening ties among and between communication scientists and practitioners, and encouraging an institutional commitment to evidence- based communication science.
