The 5th International Conference on Risk Analysis and Crisis Response was successfully held in Morocco during June 1-3, 2015

Organized by SRA-China, and host by Abdelmalek Essaadi University, the 5th International Conference on Risk Analysis and Crisis Response(RACR-2015) was held in Tangier, Morocco during June 1-3, 2015. The theme of the conference was Emerging Economies, Risk and Development, and Intelligent Technology. More than 40 participants attended the conference. They were from eight countries including China, United States, UK, Germany, Canada, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Mexico, 77 papers through the rigiour peer review are published as a proceedings by CRC Press.

The two-day conference consisted of 6 keynote speeches and four parallel sessions. All participants presented their the statu of the art researches and discussed actively with each other. The topics include economic risk, catastrophic accident, debt crisis, public health, uncertainty plague, threats to social safety, humanitarian logistics, terrorism event, managing risk for development, emerging risk, risk evaluation modeling, energy and resource, multi-criteria risk assessment, food and feed safety, risk radar, global climate change, internet of intelligences, Islamic banking, natural disasters and so on. The meeting has achieved a great success. It is also decided that the 6th International Conference on Risk Analysis and Crisis Response (RACR-2017) will be held two years later, in 2017.

After the conference, all participants took part in the excursion to Chefchaouen organized by the host, a beautiful and delicate fortress located in the northwest of Morocco on June 3. All participants were deeply impressed by the natural and cultural landscapes, and would forward special thanks to the hospitality of conference host.

Professors Chongfu Huang (President of SRA-China), Guofang Zhai (Vice-President of SRA-China), Hongbin Cao (Secretary-General of SRA-China) attended the conference, and chaired some activities.
