This free workshop will focus on current thinking surrounding causal models, how novel approaches and tools are relevant for environmental health, and how they can be incorporated into the decision making process. The workshop, which will be held at the National Academy of Sciences building in Washington, DC and webcast live, will consist of presentations from leading researchers and policy experts, interactive panel discussions and Q&A sessions, and networking opportunities over lunch and at breaks.

Sponsored by NIEHS and organized by the Emerging Science for Environmental Health Decisions committee, this workshop is part of a series that bring together participants from government, industry, nongovernmental organizations, and the academic community to explore the potential for new methods and approaches to advance our understanding of environmental impacts on human health.
