The position is within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences.

Winton Fellow - Post Doctoral Research Assistant in Communicating Statistics, Risk & Uncertainty in Forensic Science

The Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science (LRCFS) has joined with the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science at Stony Brook University, New York, and the Winton Centre for Risk and Evidence Communication, University of Cambridge to transform how we communicate statistics and probability to non-specialists. A primary area of application will be the use of statistics in the courtroom to ensure balanced and just decision making.

Post-doc in Risk Communication

Seeking a colleague to join a vibrant, interdisciplinary research community as a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Communication at Cornell University. Working closely with Dr. Katherine McComas, the postdoctoral associate will be a member of the Risk Communication Research Group, where they will take an active role in assisting and leading risk communication projects, provide guidance and mentorship to graduate students and undergraduates, and help identify possible grant funding opportunities.

Assistant Professor in Risk Analysis, Safety & Health of Agricultural Systems

This is a 12-month, tenure track position (70% extension 30% research) in the Agricultural and Biological Engineering Department (ABE), Institute of Food and Sciences (IFAS) with affiliation in Family Youth and Community Sciences at the University of Florida. Today’s technologies from industry 4.0 allow for a major step forward within DRA. Wireless sensor networks, cyber-physical systems, internet of things, cloud computing and machine learning are the most appealing solutions for collection and decision in monitoring applications.
