SRA-Metro Co-Sponsors Seminar on “The Frontiers of Public Health and Risk Management”

The November 13 seminar, held on the Rutgers University campus, was organized in cooperation with the International Society of Exposure Science Tri-State Chapter.

About 24 people from academia and industry attended the meeting, according to SRA-Metro president Rao Kolluru. The meeting was the first such joint meeting in recent history. Presentation topics included consumer nanoparticle exposure (Gediminas Mainelis, Rutgers); simulating epidemics (Ashley DeNegre, also from Rutgers); building resilient communities (Jennifer Gonzalez, Louis Berger Group); and climate change and public health (Jaime Madrigano, Rutgers).

SRA-Metro encompasses the metropolitan New York-New Jersey-Connecticut region.
