Preliminary applications for research on health effects of long-term exposure to low-level air pollution are due February 16, 2015. Letters of intent for the Walter A. Rosenblith New Investigator Award for junior air pollution health effects investigators are due March 2, 2015.
The Health Effects Institute is a non-profit corporation chartered in 1980 to provide “high-quality, impartial, and relevant science” regarding the health effects of air pollution. It receives funding from a number of sources, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the worldwide motor vehicle industry.
