SRA – Risk at Play: the Changing Role of the Chief Risk Officer

Chief Risk Officers (CROs) have played a significant role in steering publics, governments, and organizations through times of risk and crisis. In the corporate sector, it has been 15 years since the Global Financial Crisis (GFC) ushered in the function of the CRO into boardrooms and top organizational leadership teams around the world. However, the role of the CRO has been significantly shaped by the way publics, governments and organizations define and approach risk management. How have CROs evolved in response to these varying views?
