Escalation Procedure

Authors with questions, comments, or complaints about the handling of their papers should use the following escalation process:

1. Send e-mail to the Area Editor managing the paper, with a cc to the Editor-in-Chief and the Managing Editor;
2. If needed, escalate with an e-mail to the Editor-in-Chief and a cc to the Managing Editor and the Chair of the Publications Committee.
3. If further needed, escalate to the Chair of the Publications Committee.

At present, these positions are occupied as follows:

• Area Editors are identified when manuscripts are assigned.
• The Editor-in-Chief is Tony Cox (tcoxdenver@aol.com)
• The Managing Editor is Karen Lowrie (klowrie@rci.rutgers.edu)
• The Chair of the Publications Committee is Katherine McComas (kam19@cornell.edu)
