The Society for Risk Analysis Research Triangle Regional Organization (SRA-RT RO) is a regional organization of the non-profit SRA International, which has provided multidisciplinary and scholarly work on risk issues since 1981. We support and foster the use of science and tools of risk analysis in order to better assess, manage, govern, and communicate risks relevant for the 21st century. The Research Triangle is a thriving community of researchers and scholars that hosts three major universities: North Carolina State University, Duke University, and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill along with a number of companies and government agencies. The RO fosters connections between risk scientists in the region through networking opportunities, seminars, and other events.
